I just had to write about this umbrella-trend popping up in a lot of fashion magazines and street style photographs. This fall is the fall of seduction. Wear lace, leather, patent leather, cover your skin with a body and wear a pair of deep purple shoes with a pointed toe.

Nothing is too sexy this fall. But do not make this trend vulgar. A little lace collar popping up from underneath your jumper or a translucent, lace top worn on a black long skirt. This fall and winter it’s all about suble seduction.

So to give you a better look on subtle seduction, let us get the engaged trends straight.

Lace and see-through

Dolce & Gabanna Fall 2012

Francesco Scognamiglio a/w 2012

Gucci, a/w 2012

We saw the see-through trend popping up last year. Designers added a little lace to it and a new trend is born.
Again, wear it subtle. A lace, see-through top with a long black skirt looks amazing or you can keep your outfit simple and black and wear a pair of lace boots with it. Just be creative!

Old fabrics’ return

Paul Smith, a/w 2012

Satin and velvet, at some time these fabrics were in fashion and again they are.
My personal favourites are blue and purple velvet.
Again you can wear this trend subtle, like wearing a pair of velvet pumps, but you an also go for a complete satin or velvet look, like wearing a women suit made from blue velvet, like Paul Smith showed in his autum/winter 2012 collection. The seduction is in the fabric itself, but you can also show a little skin while wearing it.

Fendi, a/w 2012

Francesco Scognamiglio, a/w 2012

Fransesco Scognamiglio, a/w 2012

This defenitely is a trend we’re going to see a lot. But besides wearing leather firm and tough, you can also wear it seductive. A leather skirt or a top with leather sleeves…everything is possible. Just try and don’t be affraid. There’s only one rule here and that’s ‘dont go to far’. Keep it clean and don’t go vulgar.

Marios Schwab, a/w 2012

Gianfranco Ferré, a/w 2012

Versus, a/w 2012

Green, purple (burgundy) and blue are the colours of this season. In the colour itself already is that mysterious, seductive part, but these colours are great to wear in combination with leather, lace and velvet. You can combine them with black, but you can also wear an outfit in one colour.

The pointed toe

Roger Vivier, velvet Cloud

Diane von Furstenberg, Deanna

He’s back! The pointed toe. Sexy, firm and with a slimmering effect. Great to wear under a pair of jeans, a pantalon and a dress or skirt. You can find them in this fashion’s colours, with a lace or see-through touch and in velvet or satin. Just pick the nicest one and cheriss it like all great shoes deserve.
